Planning your stay
Guest Policies
Find the reservation and property rules for your Creekwood visit. These short summaries help you find the complete governing documents.
Reservations and stays are subject to Creekwood’s published policies and applicable requirements disclosed at booking.
A considerate stay
Enjoy Creekwood’s natural setting while respecting your neighbors, the property, and Management’s safety instructions.
Reservations and payments
A 50% deposit is required at booking and applied toward your reservation total.
The remaining balance is due at check-in. Full payment is required before occupancy.
Stays are limited to 14 consecutive nights unless Management approves an exception. There is no standard minimum stay; accommodation, holiday, or special-event minimums may apply when disclosed at booking.
Complete reservation termsArrival and departure
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM; checkout is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late checkout require Management approval and may incur fees. Unauthorized late checkout may also incur a fee.
Contact Management as soon as possible if you expect a late arrival. Arrivals after 10:00 PM Eastern Time require prior arrangements. If you have agreed on a later arrival with Management, follow those arrangements.
Cancellation and refunds
The cancellation schedule and deposit cap apply to reservations cancelled before check-in and to no-shows.
Cancellation and no-show fees will not exceed the deposit collected.
| Cancellation notice | Fee retained |
|---|---|
| 7 or more calendar days before arrival | $10 |
| 3–6 calendar days before arrival | 25% of the reservation total + $10, capped at the deposit collected |
| Within the final two-calendar-day window | Full deposit forfeited |
| No-show | Full deposit forfeited |
| Cancellation notice | Fee retained |
|---|---|
| 14 or more calendar days before arrival | $10 |
| 3–13 calendar days before arrival | 25% of the reservation total + $10, capped at the deposit collected |
| Within the final two-calendar-day window | Full deposit forfeited |
| No-show | Full deposit forfeited |
Cancellation windows use calendar days before your scheduled arrival date, in Eastern Time. The final two-calendar-day window is not an exact rolling 48-hour period.
When a cancellation request counts
For cancellation requests emailed to Info@CreekwoodResort.Com, we use the date and time the email reaches Creekwood’s inbox, in Eastern Time. That received timestamp determines the applicable cancellation window. Later staff processing does not change it.
Reservation changes and credits
There is no fee for changing reservation dates. Changes are subject to availability, rate differences may apply, and the original cancellation deadlines remain applicable.
Reservation credits expire 12 months after the original arrival date and are nonrefundable.
A simple example
For a $400 reservation with a $200 deposit, the fees and refunds are shown below. In the middle window, 25% × $400 = $100, plus the $10 administrative fee = $110 retained; $200 − $110 = $90 refunded.
| When cancelled | Fee | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| 7+ calendar days before arrival for RV sites; 14+ for cabins | $10 | $190 |
| 3–6 calendar days for RV sites; 3–13 for cabins | $110 | $90 |
| Final two-calendar-day window or no-show | $200 | $0 |
If you have not arrived or contacted Management by 10:00 PM Eastern Time on your scheduled arrival date, your reservation is a no-show. If you have agreed on a later arrival with Management, those arrangements apply. The full deposit is forfeited for a no-show, and Creekwood may release the accommodation. No-show fees will not exceed the deposit collected.
Early departure after check-in
Once you have checked in, leaving before your scheduled checkout date is an early departure. Early departures receive no refund or credit, and the full reservation amount remains payable. The cancellation and no-show deposit cap does not reduce the cost of a stay after check-in. The property-closure provision below still applies.
Weather and property closure
Normal cancellation terms apply to weather-related cancellations. If Creekwood closes or cannot provide the reserved accommodation due to unsafe conditions, affected guests may choose a refund or rebooking for the affected nights.
Approved refunds generally return to the original payment method; processing times vary.

Pets and service animals
RV sites
RV reservations allow up to two dogs, each weighing less than 70 pounds. Dogs must be leashed everywhere outdoors, including within RV sites, except inside the designated dog park. No unattended pets outdoors; dogs inside RVs must remain quiet with adequate ventilation and temperature control.
Designated pet-friendly cabins
Leopard Lodge is the only pet-eligible cabin. Advance Management approval is required for a maximum of two small, non-shedding dogs. The pet fee is $50 per reservation. Dogs must be leashed everywhere outdoors except inside the designated dog park. Pets may not be left unattended inside cabins. Cats and other pets are not permitted in cabins.
Contact Creekwood to confirm your cabin’s eligibility before reserving.
Immediately clean up pet waste, prevent excessive barking and aggressive behavior, keep dogs under control, and never let them approach or chase wildlife. Management may require removal of an unsafe or repeatedly disruptive animal. Reasonable additional cleaning or damage charges may apply.
Service animals
Service animals are not considered pets. Creekwood will accommodate service animals as required by applicable law, without pet fees or application of pet-related restrictions that conflict with those requirements.
Read all pet and service-animal conditions in the TermsRV requirements
Class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, pop-up campers, and teardrop trailers are welcome when they meet site requirements and condition standards.
RVs must be clean, well-maintained, weather-tight, operational, and suitable for recreational use. Significant damage, deterioration, active leaks, or unsafe conditions may lead to refusal. RVs older than ten years require current interior and exterior photographs and Management approval before arrival; age alone does not disqualify an RV.
Your RV, slide-outs, awnings, and equipment must fit the assigned site without obstructing roads, utilities, or neighboring sites. Contact Creekwood to confirm fit before reserving; oversized RVs require prior approval.
Generators are prohibited while park electricity is available. During power outages they may operate from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM unless Management authorizes otherwise.
Leaks and discharge of fluids onto pads or ground are prohibited; report accidental leaks immediately. Secure and seal sewer connections, report damaged hookups, and obtain approval for minor emergency repairs. Oil changes, major repairs, and vehicle washing are prohibited.
Complete RV condition, setup, and utility rulesCourtesy, parking, and quiet hours
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM. Keep voices, music, televisions, and activities from disturbing neighboring accommodations throughout your stay. Campfires and quiet outdoor activities may continue during quiet hours if they do not disturb others.
Each RV site includes one vehicle in addition to the RV if it fits within the assigned space. Cabins include two vehicles; a third needs Management approval. Additional vehicles require prior approval and may incur fees determined by Management.
The speed limit is 5 MPH. Use designated roads and parking areas. Register vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, and visitor vehicles. Contact Management before arrival with extra trailers or towing equipment.
Parties and organized gatherings require prior approval. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside cabins; outdoor smoking must not disturb others. Fireworks, guest-operated ATVs and dirt bikes, and personal pools or hot tubs are prohibited. Guest golf carts and drones require prior Management approval.
Property safety
Use designated fire rings or properly maintained portable fire pits only when fire restrictions permit. Never move installed fire rings. Keep portable pits on stable, noncombustible surfaces away from buildings, decks, vehicles, and vegetation; never on wooden decks. Attend fires and fully extinguish them before leaving or retiring. No bonfires or oversized fires.
Firewood is available for purchase. Small pieces of naturally fallen dead wood may be collected by hand in wooded areas open to guests; cutting, chopping, tool harvesting, and damaging standing trees or vegetation are prohibited. Only oak firewood may be burned in cabin fireplaces. Follow all fire restrictions and Management instructions.
Securely bag trash and use designated receptacles. Never leave trash, food, or pet food outside to attract wildlife. Do not feed, approach, handle, or disturb wildlife. Keep food and other attractants secured inside an RV, cabin, locked vehicle, or designated wildlife-resistant container.
Creek and trail conditions include uneven terrain, steep slopes, slippery surfaces, and changing water conditions. Follow posted warnings, avoid restricted areas, and follow safety instructions. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times throughout the property and may not be left unattended.
For medical emergencies, fires, or immediate threats to life or safety, call 911 first, then notify Management when safe. Report maintenance, wildlife sightings, and safety concerns promptly. Shelter availability and utility service are not guaranteed.

Displayed nightly amounts are starting rates, not a quote for your stay. Weekday and weekend rates may differ, and prices vary by date and availability. Review the total for your dates, including cleaning fees and applicable taxes, before confirming your reservation.

A cleaning fee covers normal housekeeping; dispose of trash, secure the cabin, and leave it reasonably tidy. Stripping beds and laundering linens are not required. Reasonable charges may apply for damage, missing items, or extraordinary cleaning.
See occupancy, pet conditions, and arrival and departure above. Sleeping arrangements are listed separately on each cabin page.
